I am OBSESSED with Chia Pudding. I mean it’s pretty much dessert for breakfast which is my favorite kind of breakfast! What I love about chia pudding is that other than it being super healthy and incredibly filling, you can turn it into this healthy, decadent, absolutely yummy breakfast! There are endless possibilities.
It’s amazing because you can simply whip it up the evening before and bam! you have breakfast in the morning with zero effort! Plus, this one has chocolate in it… who wouldn’t love chocolate for breakfast right?
To make this delicious Hazelnut Chia Chocolate Pudding, simply mix the chia seeds, cocoa, milk, sugar, and vanilla together until everything is well incorporated. Then pour it into glasses or a jar. Pop it in the fridge overnight and then the next morning top it with tons of dark chocolate chips and hazelnuts. Pretty easy isn’t it?
- 1/3 Cup Chia Seeds
- 1 1/2 Cups Almond Milk (or Skim Milk)
- 2 tsp Cocoa Powder (sifted)
- 2 Tbsp Coconut Sugar (depending on taste)
- 1 tsp Vanilla
- 1/4 Cup Dark Chocolate Chips
- 1/4 Cup Hazelnuts
- In a bowl, mix together the Chia Seeds, Milk, Cocoa Powder, Coconut Sugar, and Vanilla until well incorporated.
- Pour the mixture into 2 glasses and place in the fridge.
- Allow to set overnight.
- Top with choc-chips and hazelnuts.
I often make a whole bunch of Chia Puddings ahead of time so that whenever I need a quick breakfast there’s one waiting for me in the fridge or whenever a sugar craving hits I can simply snack on one of these decadent puddings. It really works out well and helps you stay healthy and keeps you away from all the sugary treats we all love so much. With a few pre-made chia puddings and a few delicious smoothies in the fridge, it is WAY easier to stick to any healthy eating plan.
